The Requirements

We developed a system for a medium-sized
Ohio city that tracks the time of its uniformed police officers.
Before implementing
this system, time tracking for the police
officers was very paper intensive. Fixing errors
was taking too much time.

needed to implement complex rules for shift
differential, vacations, holiday, injury on
duty, etc.

Data entry
needed to be quick and intuitive so that
shift commanders would spend the least
possible time entering information.
