Course Summary
The process of system development produces large amounts of
information: user requirements, data models, process descriptions, data dictionary entries, sequence diagrams and so on. Using
a CASE
tool helps project teams document, organize, and present information it creates in a clear and consistent manner. When
using a CASE
tool, you greatly diminish the opportunities to lose or overlook critical information. CASE
tools also helps insure consistency and repeatability in your
information gathering process.
This course teaches the essentials of Unified
Modeling Language (UML) and implementing it with a CASE took,
specifically the Rational Rose CASE
tool.
